Allison C. Bagley, CPA
Owner & CEO
I have over 25 years of accounting and tax experience have worked in many different environments in both private and public accounting. Over the years I have worked and consulted for several CPAs and businesses helping with all levels of bookkeeping and accounting from basic to complex accounting situations. I owned and operated a local day spa for many years giving me excellent insight on small business operations. I thrive myself on keeping a strong relationship with my clients and open communication with them and their bookkeepers.
I was born and raised in the Santa Cruz community and currently reside in Corralitos with my partner and four fur babies. When I’m not working, I am enjoying time with my dogs, hiking, reading historical fiction and murder mysteries, and spending quality time with my family.

Marie Shevlin
Office Administrator
Marie has over 15 years of administrative and accounting experience supporting tax accounting firms, commercial real estate, and property management companies. She is known for her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, dependability, and ability to manage multiple priorities. She enjoys assisting clients both over the phone and in person.
Marie studied bookkeeping, real estate, and various forms of art in Monterey and Aptos. After earning her Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, she joined the Santa Cruz Martial Arts Academy, where she taught students ranging from 3-year-old "Little Dragons" to seniors in their 70s. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, baking, crocheting, painting, puzzles, and helping family and friends.

Jennie Lei, E.A
Senior Tax Preparer and Reviewer
Jennie is a dedicated Tax Reviewer who takes pride in helping clients navigate the tax process with accuracy, care, and confidence. She reviews tax returns and financial information with a keen eye for detail, ensuring compliance while identifying opportunities to support clients’ financial goals. Known for her thorough approach and commitment to quality, Jennie works closely with the team to deliver reliable tax solutions and a positive client experience.
Outside of work, Jennie enjoys spending time with family, traveling, trying new experiences, or hunting for the latest karaoke cafes and bakeries!

Tulin Childs
Tax Preparer
Across Turkiye, New Mexico, and California, I’ve worked for nearly 19 years in accounting, budgeting, research administration, and internal auditing. Before coming to the United States, I received my Bachelor of Science in Management from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkiye. I hold CIA, CFE, CRMA, CGAP, CCSA professional certifications.
As a CPA candidate, I am excited to provide tax preparation services to our clients.
Here in Santa Cruz, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on walks at the beach, and occasionally camping.

Jen Bagley
Bookkeeper and Tax Associate
Jen Bagley is our New York State-based bookkeeper and tax professional, bringing a wealth of experience from the non-profit sector, where she honed her skills in bookkeeping and organizational management. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Modern Literature Studies, which has contributed to her strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA, Jen is thrilled to work alongside her baby sister, Allison (fondly known as "Lissa"), and the talented team at A. Bagley, CPA. One of the perks she enjoys most? Getting to start her day three hours later than her West Coast colleagues!
A meticulous professional with a keen eye for detail, Jen ensures precision and efficiency in every aspect of her work. Outside of the office, she’s passionate about reading, spending quality time with her family, diving into video games, and playing billiards.

Mary Dixon
Office Manager
A retired PVUSD school teacher and an amazing mother Mary stepped in to assist Allison in 2022 after she started off the tax season with Covid and other health complications. Mary thought she was coming in to help organize and scan documents but she has ended up wearing every hat that has been needed including assisting in tax preparation.
While she prefers to be out of the limelight and didn't want to be mentioned on our website (or pictured) she continues to be a vital support for our company making sure things run smoothly and sharing her calm and caring demeanor. She hopes to retire (again) someday soon from the tax business.
